As one of the most creative councils in South Australia, our client City of Prospect has their sights set on a major, and slightly unusual, prize for Tourrific Prospect 2016.
From 5pm on Monday 18 January at Memorial Gardens, Prospect, during the Tourrific Prospect street party, City of Prospect will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Ukulele Ensemble. The current record is held by Tahiti and sits at a whopping 4,792 players.
The impressive ensemble will be led by the legendary Peter Combe and Mayor David O’Loughlin and supported by the fabulous Marilyn Jetty Swim group, a glamorous group of Marilyn Monroe impersonators who raise money for the Cancer Council.
Algo Más has worked City of Prospect on the Tourrific Prospect Ukulele Challenge design, media relations and marketing strategy. Make sure you get involved in this once in a lifetime event, visit prospect.sa.gov.au for more details about how to get involved and to register.
